2010-2011
Luke 21:25-27 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

2010

2010 Top Year for Natural Disasters:
The world coped with numerous unprecedented disasters in 2010, including earthquakes in Haiti and Chile, floods in Pakistan and China, and forest fires in Russia. Almost 300,000 people died. Munich Re, the world's leading insurer, estimates the costs at $130 billion, up from $50 billion in 2009.

"The high number of weather-related natural catastrophes and record temperatures both globally and in different regions of the world provide further indications of advancing climate change," said Munich Re.

In fact, 2010 was the second worst year in history, after 1980. 950 natural disasters were recorded last year, compared to an average of 785 over each of the past 10 years.

Munich Re noted that 2010 saw one of the most severe hurricane seasons in the past 100 years, but most of the storms luckily were over the open sea.

Why is the north magnetic pole racing toward Siberia?
But the NMP(North Magnetic Pole) drifts from year to year as geophysical processes within Earth change. For more than 150 years after Ross's measurement its movement was gradual, generally less than 15 kilometers per year. But then, in the 1990s, it picked up speed in a big way, bolting north–northwest into the Arctic Ocean at more than 55 kilometers per year

1/1/11 UFO filmed over the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem

1/1 Thousands of blackbirds dropping dead from the sky, dead fish washing up on the shore...in many various places in the world.

1/4 Australia is the latest casualty, as it begins to recover from its unprecedented torrential flood. State Treasurer Andrew Fraser calls it a "disaster of biblical proportions." The flood raised water levels 30 feet above normal. Military aircraft have been deployed to bring food and other supplies to residents, where homes and roads are submerged. The floods, which forced 200,000 people to evacuate, have created an inland sea in an area known for cattle, sugar farms and coal mines.

1/5 40,000 Devil Crabs wash up in the UK (and many more reports of different types of fish washing up on beaches around the world)

1/5 thousands of dead doves in Italy. (and many other reports in many places)

1/6 Canadian river turns bright green and "Earlier in the day a fountain beside Veterans Memorial Parkway in Langford also turned bright green."

1/11 Scores missing after 6-10' tsunami-like wall of water in Australia..."I've never seen anything like this," said a resident.

1/13 Sections of Australia (as large as Germany and Austria) experiencing flood of "Biblical proportions" and in the US there was snow on the ground in all our states except Florida (including Hawaii). Brazil also flooded.

1/13 Jan 13th - Strange Massive Tear in Earths Solar Surface

Dead Birds and Fish are still being reported around the world!

1/17 200 cows found dead in Wisconwin

1/18 BBC News - Thousands of dead octopuses wash up on Portugal beach and a 7.3 earthquake in pakistan today too. And....Hundreds of whales die in New Zealand

2/1Japan volcano erupts with a big splash of ash, rocks

2/1 Australia evacuates coastal cities in path of Big Cyclone CANBERRA (Reuters) – Australia evacuated thousands of people from its northeast coast on Tuesday as a cyclone rivaling Hurricane Katrina bore down on tourism towns and rural communities, with officials saying it could even threaten areas deep inland that were ruined by floods last month.

2/21 Solar problems....Read more: 'Global Katrina': Biggest solar storm ever could cause power cuts for MONTHS | Mail Online

2/25 Vietnam....7,000 buffalo (water buffalo) died! They say due to cold.
Gulf Coast...60 dead baby dolphins wash ashore. Due to the oil spill?

3/11 Japan....9.0 earthquake and mega tsunami...kills thousands, resultant nuclear meltdown.

3/12 Thousands of dead fish (sardines) wash up and clog harbor Redondo Beach. Thousands of dead fish found in Lake St. Claire. Hundreds of dead fish found in Glen Ellyn Pond.

4/28 Tornadoes roll through Alabama. The weather man on Fox said it was "unprecedented."

5/14 The Mississippi river flooding...and still flooding today!

5/24 Joplin tornado. Unbelievable destruction and deaths.

5/25 Iceland volcano

There are fires, drought and flooding...all going on now in the United States. A report on the news 5/38/11.....34 million in China facing drought...no water no rice. They're not able to find enough water to drink or for their animals.

With all of that there is the financial hardship of many nations and....Arab Spring. Chaos that is leading to a caliphate!

what about the plague, killing 1/4 of the global population in 2 or 3 years? Or the 2004 tsunami, killing about 230000 people. or what about the 1303 Shanxi earthquake, killing 200000 people, or the 1556 Shaanxi earthquake killing 820000 people? and trust me, there ware many more natural disasters throughout history that outmatch the ones today.

Thank the petroleum industry, science was already predicting that this would happen.

the scale of natural disasters is a bit more important than the amount you are giving some deceptive numbers here. which is worse, ten natural disasters each killing about 50 people or one natural disaster killing 100000 people?

again, science predicted that this would happen because of global warming.

The time frame in which humanity has the ability to accurately study the sun is not so great, so learning new things is to be expected. but the fact that the sun can be violent is old news, just look at the1989 geomagnetic storm for example.

Solar storms are nothing new, we know that the sun can be violent and just because we currently don't have a full understanding of whats happening doesn't mean that god is doing it. don't evoke a god of the gaps here.

the magnetic field of our planet is still acting the way it should be, if there is a pole shift withing the next 10 years, I'm sure that you will be the first to jump on that to support your religion.

a flood? how is that special?[Image: fs.024-00.table.gif]

or are you going to say that those floods are smaller?
the 1931 Huang He flood caused between 800,000 and 4,000,000 deaths in China. (China just has the worst luck when if comes to natural disasters, I think that they are all sinners).

on average there are 16 earthquakes every year that are higher than 7, whales often beach in numbers most of the time because ships use allot of sonar (which is really loud an uncomfortable for whales).

as for the octopuses, again, I cant think of an answer right away so god must have done it.

because volcano eruptions are unique to our time.
what about Mt saint Hellenes? or what about Mt Etna?
but those are just small fish, take mount Tambora for instance which led to the year without a summer in 1816. Or the 1883 Krakatoa eruption killing 40000 and many others indirectly, which was also the largest volcanic eruption in recored history.

again with the dead animals? surely your God could come with better signs than that... like raining fish, Singapore, February 22, 1861. Olneyville, Rhode Island, May 15, 1900. Marksville, Louisiana, October 23, 1947. Bhanwad, Jamnagar, India, Oct 24, 2009. Lajamanu, Northern Territory, Australia, February 25 and 26, 2010,.

now thats impressive.

RE: 2010-2011
The point that you are ignoring is that it's still insignificant. lets compare it with individual periods in history.

1931:
- Huang He flood in china killing 800000 to 4 million people (this event alone beats all 2010-2011 disasters combined).
-New Zealand city of Napier is destroyed in an earthquake measuring 7.9 on the Richter scale
-An earthquake destroys Managua, Nicaragua, killing 2,000 people.
-polio pandemic
-The Yangtze River floods, leaving 23 million homeless.
-The worst hurricane in Belize history kills an estimated 1,500 people
-The Panama Canal is closed for a couple of weeks due to damage caused by earthquakes. (this is the only time in history that the panama canal had to close sounds pretty apocalyptic to me)
-Nevada legalizes gambling!

and talking about chaos and poverty, 1931 owned 2011 in that department.

or 1816, the year without a summer. they probably had just as many natural disasters back than, they just weren't recorded as well as today.
but consider this, in that year, there really was NO summer in Europe and north america.

or lets take 1346-1347, when the black death killed a quarter of the global human population. We are probably living in paradise compared to that period in history.
