RE: Are you Agnostic?
My opinion is that agnosticism and atheism are responses to two different questions.
Agnosticism is a response to questions regarding knowledge. Atheism is a response to questions regarding belief. I am an agnostic in terms of my knowledge of God because to me the word is too poorly defined to have any real meaning. Most believers are more or less agnostic towards God as well because to them God remains largely unknown and/or unknowable ("God works in mysterious ways", "who can know the mind of God?" etc.). With regard to atheism, I am atheist because I have no belief in God. Questions of belief are separate from questions of knowledge, though there is some overlap in that agnosticism can lead to atheism; but agnosticism can also lead to mystical theism. Agnosticism is a lack of knowledge. Atheism is a lack of belief. Belief and religion are the training wheels of civilization. MerryAtheist.net |

RE: Are you Agnostic?
I changed my mind after finding out about Our Lady of Fatima and St. Padre Pio of Pietrelcina. I was always interested in religion before that, thinking they were all beautiful, but I chose to be Christian on my own, I saw more truth there than in any others.

RE: Are you Agnostic?
What was it about Our Lady of Fatima and St. Padre Pio of Pietrelcina that convinced you?
