The midnight hearse flies lightly by a reason
Giving gifts of hallowed thinking,
Its black shadow haunting hillside graveyards...
Up on top of the mountains
At the bottom of the valley
You can slowly lick the fingers
Of a softer kind of view.
Lick them until they are clean
Of what you are going to do.

The midnight blanket gives you peace; an oil
Lying over the third eyes
Of the clowns awaiting morning.
Down near the turning tire,
At the beginning of the road,
You can slowly lick the fingers
Of a softer kind of view.
With the dawn comes awakening
And climbing for a top that's never there. See? Saw!

Casting midnight the darkest role of all
Is the sickest kind of thinking.
A beauty like hers is for the daytime.
At the back of the trolley
Near the railroad car's desertion
You can slowly lick the fingers
Of a softer kind of view,
But her fingers are are always dirty.
That's what she's there for,
Now do what you're there to do.

The midnight hearse flies lightly by a reason
Giving gifts of hallowed thinking,
Its black shadow haunting hillside graveyards...

A reason,
An oil
Of all.
A reason to come together and brighten up the world.
For there is room for every man, every star has an orbit.
We should all let it shine down.
Down, down, down,
Let it all shine down, from above.
There is a reason,
Shine down, down.
Down.
Every star can have an orbit,
But every clown can find a reason.
Down, down.......

Shine on down.
That's for soul.
