China made some contribution to the world
considering China is successful in providing food and clothers, creating job oppotunities to 1.3billion people, I think it has achieved a big accomplishment. Some people criticize its State for its one-child policy in the name of protecting human rights. These merciful gentlemen, have you realized that the world would have had another 0.3 billion (at least)people to feed without that policy. There would have been another equal number of people waiting for jobs. If these need are not met, we all know what chould happen. poverty, famine, conflict, destruction to environment, exhaustion of resource. China's special national condition should be considered when sb make objection to it

Well I can see where you are coming from, but why not advance in Research.
If we work hard enough we will Produce Terra Forming Technologies and then your people will be able to colonize places such as the Moon and Mars.
I love Asia and it's philosophies it's just that China needs to be Reformed, so that every ones rights are taken into account.
I love peace if peace is possible. But if I am attacked or threatened in any way I will retaliate with an equal amount of aggression. Not because I feel that turning the other cheek is wrong, but that if I didn't stand up for myself no one else would.

If China felt threatened by the U.S. in any way would it not fight back?
Of course yours is the largest military in the world. If my countries government tried to take on yours it would be a blood bath on both sides.

I don't want that, but look at what my country is doing to the middle east and I will tell you after we have the Oil,
China and Russia are next on my countries hit list.
So don't think your safe from America just because you sale us things my Government has been planning to take China and Russia down since the Cold Wars.
After the U.S. has Arrested Total control of the Middle East it will then move on to Europe and Asia. The U.S. has convinced herself that she is unstoppable and the rest of the world needs to be mindful of the fact that Americans are thee most Aggressive force on the planet since the Roman empire.

When WW3 starts the blood will be on American hands. It won't be fought with Atomic Bombs but with Words and Information!
The reason Americans are told the World will end on 2012 is because our Media is trying to control us using Fear!
The Republic died when the so called "Patriot Act" was passed in Congress all that is left is a Hallow Shell.

We the people have no power except what the Government allows us to think we have.

This thread hasn't got much to do with religion.

Ms. Lee, maybe do political stuff in the general chat section.

I know history education is in terrible shape in the US, but I did not know it was that bad. If you want to see some seriously aggressive imperialist forces other than the US since Roman times, check these out.

Attila the Hun
Muslim conquests
Ottoman Empire
Mongol Empire
Qing Dynasty
Mughal Empire
Napoleon I
Napoleon III
Spanish Empire
British Empire
German Empire (before WW1)
Germany during WW2
Japan during WW2
Communist Empire

I am not at all defending the Iraq situation. On the contrary, I spoke out vehemently against the war from the beginning, and even made numerous dire predictions that unfortunately came true. But hyperbole is not history.

And anyway, why exactly would the US want to take over a country that is providing ultra-cheap labor and is unhampered by working condition, environmental or paperwork multiplying legislation? Why bring that to an end?

RE: China made some contribution to the world
Hi,

This is I guess is very beyond as this is what is exactly a deep brief about this and I know about this today as it is good to know that China is a name for its biggest contribution for a world which is very good.

Thanks!

The only reason they need is that China is Communist and our Politicians can make more money on more war!
Most Americans see Communism as evil!
So our Politicians could easily get Americans to rally behind a war against china. It's all about the Oil companies and the Weapons Companies making money. That would be the only reason,
Imperialism combined with a self righteous attitude about Democracy vs Fascism.

Even though I am a pacifist I do sometimes make anti-communist statements that might sound mean. I am not against Socialism or Capitalism what I am against is repression of any kind. In fact I think we need a combination of Socialism and Capitalism to keep our governments working right. I think war is wrong and the only way I would fight in a war would be to protect some thing. The "War on Terror" is not about Protection but Invasion!

The U.K. seems to becoming a police state.
Don't they have camera's every where now in england?

Well in comparison the Patriot Act in the U.S is the same thing only our government lets us think it's not as bad when it's worse than cameras!

The CIA and FBI have wire tapped every phone in the U.S. and they keep a watchful eye on what the media tells us. They also control what websites we are allowed to see. And the CIA was most likely the one responsible for 9/11!
