Death & Heaven

Death & Heaven
Man is a peculiar animal. He does not want to die, but he wants to have heaven. But it is true that heaven comes after death. That means if a man wants to taste heaven, firstly he must die.

As a Drishtantoist, avoiding the matter of heaven I follow the principle: ‘Be good only for saving yourself and the world’.

Every man? Heaven has never appealed to me. Though I have never been religious so I don't really know what it's like to hope to get there.

Interesting post...

In my belief heaven is a spiritual condition that can be experienced while you're alive as well as after your spirit leaves your body after death... Heaven is nearness to God.

You could also say that "dying" to self is necessary to experience heaven in an allegorical sense.

My purpose specifically? My purpose is to live and enjoy life.

Of course it's possible. Many things I don't understand are possible. I just don't think a god or an afterlife is probable. I'm more than happy to change my mind if the opposite is true.
