Do we exist as humans by chance or for some higher reason?
How likely it is that you were born in this universe as intelligent being?

Firstly our existence should occur on this planet or some other hospitable planet instead of many other places. According to science at some point Earth was totally without life. However, if we had no soul, then our potential existence must have been here ready to develop into some lifeform -- which in turn would evolve into a human being later on. Without a soul, we could not rule out any rocks in space as potential locations where our potential existence might have been (as they are as lifeless as Earth was in the beginning). Most places would be a failure because of the hostile environment, but according to science our existence just happened on Earth (by some unknown natural cause)...

Even if life came down to Earth riding on a meteorite or some other thing, we would still face a difficult problem to become existing --> Even if your existence got inside some living thing, your ancestors still had to survive (carry also your potential existence) from the most primitive lifeform up to apes up to humans up to your generation for you to have any chance to exist in this reality. Every time your ancestor should have been a "winner" in that semen swimming contest, but that would have been useful only when male and female were actually mating and at the right time. With atheist logic (that you have no soul) your existence must be somehow part of a lifeform and therefore carried through your ancestors bodies until you get birth simply because you could not appear out of nowhere into your mother's body. If there was a chance of 1:100.000 for you to be born from your father's semen in that swimming contest, then you should multiply that with hundred thousand for every ancestor you had had before your father (because they must also have been winners in that swimming contest) -- and if we started counting from earliest of life forms, that would become one huge number against the chance for your existence.

Moreover some of us are born with twin sister or twin brother or several of them... now how do you explain that (without a soul) you became existing one instead of the potential twins you might have had with or instead of you?

Moreover you should become the controller of the brains in human body, not e.g. have born as an animal or some little bacteria filling our world -- every simple bacteria should have the same chance to have your existence within them, because every bacteria is in a way an independent being, making independent decisions, that is having a sort of existence. The chance that, without a soul, you were born nothing more than a meaningless bacteria is practically nonexistent.

So, in light of probabilities the chance that we have rebirth and/or god(s) controlling things in our existence must actually be very high -- definitely much higher than the "practically nonexistent" chance that me or you have just survived the ride of evolution process to become existing in a human being.

Atheists seem to believe that we were just extremely lucky to exist for one meaningless moment as human beings in our universe and would then just disappear forever. Now in the light of probabilities that we should have existed as meaningless bacteria at most, if at all, which is one is more fantasy thinking and which is more probable -- that we are here in this reality by blind chance or for some higher reason?

If I hit a gold ball, the chances of it hitting any given blade of grass are astronomically low when given the number of blades of grass on a single fairway, human inconsistency in hitting the ball, inconsistency of wind and other weather, etc. So, my ball lands on blade #369,220,3308 at some ridiculously low probability rate. Does that make my golf swing divinely inspired?

Also, probability is not cumulative. Your parents both existed before you, therefore the probability of them having existed is 100% when you are calculating the probability of you having been born, as we know they existed.

If I wanted to twist probability back on you, it would be simple. You can either be born or not born. Therefore the probability of being born is 1:2. If your parents have sex just four times in their life, probability says they are likely to have two kids.
