How can you know? They could just be saying they did, so they could get into heaven.

What nonsense... if your child is murdered by some idiot, I'm sure you'll never be able to forgive them - they've destroyed your child's live AND yours. Not forgiving them is not a sin, it's the most normal thing in the world.

It's sooooo easy for people to talk about forgiveness (and make it sound like if it was a really easy thing to do) when they're not personally involved in horrible situations Rolleyes
You gave a bad example, concerning a murdered child. The person who does that has committed two of the seven deadly sins. They cannot be forgiven, and their spirit will sink into the abyss.

Your fellow theists think otherwise - these people can still get their ticket to heaven.

Again, just like all others in this thread, you leave the victims out of the picture - it's only about the murderer and god. The people that are dead or will suffer for the rest of their lives are not interesting - quite a sick way to look at such situations imo.

You are ignoring what I've said, Herm. I never said the victim of sin is not important. In the Kingdom of God, aka the New World Order, these things will disappear.

Only if your fantasy world exists, otherwise nothing changes for the victims - they will suffer all their lives. All you can offer them is a "maybe", which doesn't help them at all in this life.

Don't cling to a mistake just because you spent a lot of time making it

Where does the bible define different types of murder?

Answer: It doesn't.

So where does Muhammad-Isa get the notion that different types of murder are not the same...? Humans... Morality clearly comes from humans. Mohamed-Isa illustrated this point very well with the murder example.

Obviously people bring morality to religion, not the other way around. This is embarrassingly obvious. How could anyone possibly deny it?

when we enter a discussion on matters of discordance, we should search for truth not victory, In this manner we always win, there are no losers.
