RE: Favourite Place for travelling
I miss my home in the Rheinland, just thinking about Europe these days really make me depressed.

RE: Favourite Place for travelling
I have always sworn that I will go back to Bavaria someday. Best three weeks of my life, man.

Though if we're talking favorite exact place, atop the Pyramid of the Sun at Teotihuacan. I don't care much for anything around it, but that one place man... it's amazing.

I'm back baby! Thanks for everyone who sent me PMs asking what had happened to me.

For me, the most beautiful cities outside of the USA have been Kiev and Barcelona.

RE: Favourite Place for travelling
I've not been abroad that much, but I am trying to see as much of my own country (England) as possible, as there is so much history and things of interest that are just here, but you don't necessarily hear about. I won't bore you all with the details.

My favourite place though? Although I was only there for a few days, I've been thinking about it a lot recently; Pompeii.

Greece, I have wanted to visit for so long!
I am absolutely fascinated with Greek Mythology and Greece culture in general. Smile

The stories I heard as a kid from Greek Mythology were very censored, but none the less were the building blocks of why I love it so much. I have never heard of either books, but the stories in them I am sure I have heard. I think Greeks had the most fascinating story tellers! Smile

RE: Favourite Place for travelling
I sort of imagine Ireland as this magical land filled to the brim with great music, great beer, and cute redheads. I'd love to go there someday.

My favorite place that I've actually been would have to be either Camp Woodward in PA or the White Mountains in New Hampshire (specifically King Ravine and Zealand Falls)

Ireland is full of rain, complaints about Cromwell's treatment of them, rain, drunks, the Irish, and did I mention it rains there?
