I'm living in QLD, originally from WA.

So being a Mexican Kev, I'm guessing you follow AFL?

It's Aussie for Come on the West Coast Eagles! An Australian Rules team. In fact the only team worth following!

Good stuff! Here in the US we have the Philadelphia Eagles... uh, not so worth following. Not at all. Bugger!("bugger" is Aussie?)

RE: Flipper
Not originally, IM, but they use it. It's English, and was originally a pejorative both for homosexuals and the act of homosexual anal sex - the Buggery Act of 1533 first made "the abominable act of buggery, practiced with mankind or any animal" punishable by hanging. These days it's a fairly mild exclamation the way you used it.

Edit - Sorry, I seem to be no fun at all this morning. Off work for a week and I apparently have to start teaching people over the internet so I don't feel left out.
