God - limited imagination?
Countless tribes were able to come up with the same answer to origin of life or world. It does not matter how clever, smart or intelligent you are, the idea of all-powerful creator God can be adopted by anyone regardless of their knowledge, race, sex, age etc. Now we know that the universe is not even more magnificent and elegant than we thought, it is more magnificent than we can even imagine. Our imagination is limited and restricted to what we know and experience. We celebrate the variety of life, even though, we have sample of only one. We appreciate and admire the universe, however, if the inflationary theory of cosmology is right, then this universe is just one option of many, but unimpeachably unique. All we know and experience can be just smidgen of reality. Therefore it is very likely that the most fundamental answers are beyond our current imagination. We know that what we think or believe in has nothing to do with reality otherwise this world would be disaster. Common sense is inadequate and feeble tool for decoding universe. There are parts of physics where matter behaves irrationally to what we call common sense. As far as understanding is concerned the idea of God as solution to origin of everything(whatever that means in reality) is nothing but bunch of endless questions in disguise. If the most complex entity ever possible(God) is the case then basically development, progress, change, evolution, life etc. is just meaningless fake, one big theater with God as key player. These are just some consequences that would arise.

RE: God - limited imagination?
Or perhaps He isn't even in the game and the entire field is ours for the taking, just maybe the whole board has been laid out for us and it is up to us to find the rules, find the purpose and achieve the ultimate result, whatever that is.

????????????????
