Hinduism Facts | Definition of Hinduism - Myselfhindu
Hinduism Survived 700 Years Of Islamic And British Autocratic Rule. Islamic Autocrats (1201- 1707) Destroyed Numerous Hindu And Buddhist Temples And Killed Millions. The British (1757- 1947) Debunked Hindu Religion As A Form Of Paganism And As Primitive. The Long Colonial Rule Also Impacted The Land Economically. But it doesn't mean that things won't change - as times change we must change with the times. Indians saw the British as no different from their current rulers and paid dearly for such wrong-headed thinking. India was a rich country when the British arrived, by the time they left, we were dirt poor. Most of the world wants to pretend that this just a big coincidence - the white man came to rescue us darkies - is the story they want to play
Anyway, Indonesia was once Hindu - today totally wiped out except in a few parts. The country for being islamic is tolerant and that is the Hindu influence you see. Judaism once covered large parts of the world, now they are a tiny but powerful religion
Zoroastrianism once dominated the entire middle east - now its a dying religion

We need to do more to popularize Hinduism - if Reincarnation is so bad, why does Hinduism teach it? Everyone agrees Hinduism is tolerant, but why? Why is Hinduism tolerant? These are the questions that need to be asked and popularized

Nonsense. The Mughals enslaved Indians and the wars prior to British occupation of India were awful.

Quote:In 1846, the British commissioner, John Lawrence, told the local elite that Punjabis could no longer burn their widows, commit female infanticide, nor bury their lepers alive.
When they protested, saying that he had promised there would be no interference in their religious customs, Lawrence steadfastly replied that it was British religious custom to hang anyone who did such things.
In addition to combating these barbaric practices, the British also outlawed slavery in 1843 at a time when an estimated 10 million Indians were slaves - up to 15 per cent of the population in some regions.

It's not about whether it is good, but about whether it is true.

Please provide evidence that reincarnation is true. I can believe all sorts of really wonderful nonsense, but that doesn't make it true.
