Impact Of Navgrah On Life
The nine grahas or planets present in horoscope are responsible for controlling the outcomes of life. Each of the grah has its own benefits and rivals with the other, which gives rise to the doshas in the person's horoscope. Sometimes people say that their time is running bad, its all due to the ill effects of the grahas.

Navgrah shanti Puja is undertaken by the devotees to reduce the ill effects of the planets. This puja helps the devotee to get the blessings of nine planets which gives courage to face any situation of life, wealth, education, knowledge and all prosperity in life.

RE: Impact Of Navgrah On Life
I don't believe in Astrology. But I have nothing against the practice or the people who go to an astrologer for a solution. End of the day, every person has freedom to practice what he likes. But can we categorise this practice as part of a Religion or Science is the question.
Astrology practiced in India may be a part of Indian culture (there by part of Hindu culture). But can it be brought under religious discussion in Hinduism? (May be all such native practices including black magic can be brought under one category, irrespective of the religion). But then, Yoga is discussed many times here. When one puts Yoga under religion, one can't say astrology cannot be brought. Does it mean, any practice with Indian origin (like Ayurveda; ancient Indian Herbal medicinal treatment) can be brought under the religion, Hinduism?

My criticism towards the post; .....

Whether the post should remain in religion discussion, I will leave it for the moderator.

Navgrah (Nine planets) Controls our life very much. Astrology is based on the position of planets in different houses at the time of birth and these planetary positions affects our life greatly.

From my POV, there are great days and then better than great days. Astrology can help determine that.

As per ace astrologer and spiritual guru Vinay Viraat, "One can't depend solely on karma or planets. There exists certain other elements that are equally responsible in shaping our reality - our place, our thoughts, varied mediums, and the structure of nature. "

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the founder of the Art of Living Foundation, also states that the positive vibes created by regular sadhana can also protect oneself from the negative influence of the planets.

There is also an interesting chapter in Yogananda's 'Autobiography of a Yogi' where his guru Sri Yukteshwar talks about the influence of the planets and astrology to a skeptical Yogananda.

Self-awareness is yoga. - Nisargadatta Maharaj

Mindfulness is the true virtue. - Buddha

Evil is an extreme manifestation of human unconsciousness. - Eckhart Tolle
