Sin?
1. Are YOU going to Heaven or Hell? No Catholic knows that (not even The Pope) - Judgement is left to Christ

2. G-d will not force YOU to go to Heaven

Only 2 types of Sin

WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO MORTAL SIN?
http://www.ewtn.com/library/ANSWERS/MORTSIN.htm

3. Mortal sin (You really worked to get to HELL)

destroys our union with God and the presence of sanctifying grace in our souls. Because these are heinous actions in the eyes of God, for a person to knowingly and willingly commit them indicates a turning away from the love of God.

We do rank sin - One Mortal Sin is not any worse than any other

4.On the other hand, venial sin ( this is the clueless category)
Invincible Ignorance and Vincible Ignorance

denotes either an act of a less serious matter, or one which involves grave matter but is performed without full knowledge or complete consent of the will. Unlike mortal sin, which involves a complete turning away from God's love, venial sin wounds our relationship with God.

Sadly, some individuals misconstrue fundamental option in such a way there are no particular mortal sins. Instead, the one "mortal sin" which would take a soul to hell is for a person to willingly, knowingly reject God and His love entirely. Such a stance would reduce fundamental option to some psychological game, whereby a person says, "I love God. I do not reject God. My individual choices or particular actions do not affect my total being. Therefore, although I committed adultery, or murdered someone, or fornicated, or robbed the bank, (or committed any other mortal sin), God still loves me, I love God, and I think I am going to heaven." Think again. While only God can probe the depths of our soul and judge a person, objectively, those actions are mortal sins.

RE: Sin?
Very interesting......

However why are you pointing out one group of people?
Do you think that is right?
Just a question.

Power is repentance...and meaning it.

It's not about you or me. It's about GOD.

I'm sure i read in the bible it's not Christ's direct decission (St. John?) but maybe you have different beliefs.

Interesting points though, but I always feel to love god is to love each other, and vice versa. Loving God doesn't cement your postition, but being a "good" person does.

2 Corinthians 5
9 And therefore we labour, whether absent or present, to please him. 10 For we must all be manifested before the judgement seat of Christ, that every one may receive the proper things of the body, according as he hath done, whether it be good or evil.

RE: Sin?
Its wise to not judge or point out where a person will go after death because we all are unsure where we'll go... who knows you'll die before them and be sent to Hell to be their escort when he/she shows up later. As long as your alive the chance is still there that you'll Sin. how negative is it to point out a man who doesn't believe in God will go to hell? are you positively certain that your not going there also or remain as a spirit for very long time until your purity is attained? my point is that not allowing negative thoughts/remarks to manifest itself is practicing to behave in Heaven. one should refuse to speak negatively towards others because of their ignorance. why not help this individual as much as you can positively.

target sin with love and compassion to mankind is a positive way to assure you wont make a fool of yourself before Judgment day.

RE: Sin?
What a fearful life that must be, living in constant worry of hell.

This is one of the reasons why I say the Judeo-Christian-Muslim god is horribly cruel. The very concept of hell is monstrous. As a nation we're more ethical than God, we don't torture even our worst criminals. Who is to say what I do is a sin? Do I have no rights at all as a sentient being to make my own choices?

I'm back baby! Thanks for everyone who sent me PMs asking what had happened to me.

RE: Sin?
ancient MOON god was called SIN and associated with Nanna.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lunar_deity
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sin_(mythology)

funny how the Catholic church is hung up on SIN and its ramifications...?
funny how the Catholic church has veiled the worship of the MOON but not the SUN?

funny or revealing?

No wonder the Sun worshiping Judeao/Christians* build caSINos in the middle of the desert.
Makes cents and much $.

* therefore it is not surprising then that the mobsters called the Mafia, who build/operate the caSINos, also subscribe to the Judeao/Christian myth called Jesus, and not surprisingly they also kiss the crucifix and worship power and money, and after behaving badly, they keep getting a new slate issued to them, solely by going to confession once a week.

nice belief system.

Somebody should teach those Roman Catholic mobsters something about KARMA and SIN.

why don't you ask your government that question?

RE: Sin?
Okay, so we had eight years where we did. But now we're launching an investigation. And who knows! New president, the investigation might actually get us somewhere.

But nothing we've done as a nation can come close to hell. And even waterboarding has most people in the country against it.

I'm back baby! Thanks for everyone who sent me PMs asking what had happened to me.

GT,
Be open minded on this one okay?

From my experience with Divine, Divine mentioned Man is on the verge of extinction because the balance is almost lost. Sin is what man call it but from the Divines its negative pollution of Mind, Body and Soul. Only man can save themselves with aid from Divine. the choice is on Man. what you think about this?

other readers opinions are welcomed too.
