The Perfect Law of God
Question. If the Law of God is perfect, as Psalms 19:7 says, where is giving in the law?

RE: The Perfect Law of God
Which set of God's Laws are we talking about, though- the OT Law, the NT Law, or the Qur'an Law?

When someone asks "What would Jesus do?" remind them that flipping tables and chasing people with a whip is entirely possible.

RE: The Perfect Law of God
Why was this moved to general religion? This is a Christian thread. No disrespect (:

The Qur'an is not God's law. The 10 Commandments is the law of the OT and the NT

I think you'll find around 1.6 billion Muslims around the world who will disagree with you on the Qur'an not being God's Law Big Grin

As for the '10 Commandments', there is a very valid argument to be made regarding the 10 Commandments not being applicable to Christians; this point has been made elsewhere in this forum, and recently.

If you are talking about me, I argued that Christians need to follow the five action oriented commandments plus a great big umbrella command that covers a lot of territory.

‘You shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony, honor your father and mother,’ and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’ (From Matthew 19)

As the poster I was interacting with has since been perma banned, I doubt I will be returning to that thread.

Indeed, II, I was referring to your most able arguments on the subject. Fortunately for me, I share a lot of your viewpoints for I would not want to have you as a debate opponent on religion !!
