The energy of the universe = God?
All knowing being, all powerful being, creator of the universe = beingness = consciousness = everything = God?

I think all religions' Gods are physical manifestations of the universe energy.

Who agrees/disagrees?

Ok seriously how many sockpuppets does bushbaby have now?

In the end, it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures, the Tyrannosaurus Rex.

What do you think the universal energy is?

I prefer vodka, but only late in the night after too many beers!
I'm with MRlogic though, what exactly is this "universal" energy of which you speak?

What the hell I'll play. Go have a look at this thread, where we've talked about this exact pantheist idea in considerable detail.

Actually that's not playing - asking someone to go elsewhere...

Also, pantheists don't believe in a creator god.

That is a very broad statement. Bits and pieces of your comments cross many beliefs.

Quite right, it's not. Just in case I wasn't clear I'm thinking pumita is another sockpuppet of bushbaby's. Just seems too convenient that bush bows out of that discussion, then a new account appears who's very first post is a much more simple rendition of exactly his ideas.

Still, what the hell, I'm in. If they are separate people, it'll be good to get more insight on this. If not, well, it might still be fun.

Of course they don't, but that doesn't seem to be what bushbaby is suggesting.

I disagree. Do have a few questions for you:
  • What is "universe energy" exactly?
  • Why do you think that "universe energy" is conscious in any way?
  • What makes you think the universe was created by an all powerful being?

In the end, it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures, the Tyrannosaurus Rex.
