Theists, what is the most corporeal experience you have had regarding your beliefs
What is the most physical, tangible, material, experience you have had regarding your spiritual beliefs and/or religion?

Examples:
Have you ever physically felt a supernatural being?
Have you ever wrestled with a demon?
Have you ever audibly heard a supernatural being with your ears?

You don't have to answer the above questions, any corporeal experience will do.

Really? No theist has had a corporeal experience? I'm not surprised.

RE: Theists, what is the most corporeal experience you have had regarding your beliefs
Religious experience occurs when emotions run high and only to those who are predisposed to believe. Analogously, many people think that they see and hear ghosts when they are filled with fear and already believed in ghosts. These experiences are no evidence for the existence of ghosts, because they depend on emotions and prior belief.

The same sources of error permeate religious experience.
Disagreement, prejudice, and emotion are so widespread in religion that any religious experience needs independent confirmation anyways. If someone were to post a religious experience, it would not prove anything.

I'm not talking about seeing/witnessing. I'm talking about actually touching, feeling, holding, slapping, punching, or body slamming the supernatural (i.e. a physical encounter). People see many bizarre things when they are high, drunk, sleepy, or just normal, but that doesn't mean they are real. There is a word for that and it is called hysteria. When there is more than one person seeing crazy things, it's called mass hysteria.

And when I said "audibly" in my original post, I meant that two or more people have heard the same sound coming from the supernatural object/being. But even this can be categorized as hysteria. And simply hearing something isn't even corporeal.
