To a Beautiful Person
To a Beautiful Person
If GOD had a refrigerator,
your picture would be on it.
If He had a wallet, your photo
would be in it.
He sends your flowers every spring.
He send you a sunrise every morning.
Whenever you want to talk, He listens.
He can live anywhere in the
universe, but He chose...Your heart.
Face it, He is with you forever..
Spirit of God dwells in you?”1Corinthians 3:16-20

God created your physical body as a ‘house’ that He could live in. Wherever you are, wherever you go, you take God with you. You are really a portable sanctuary!
GOD did not promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way.

Waving Goodbye

RE: To a Beautiful Person
Poem for a best friend
beautiful and courageous H.

Touching her long hair, she gently strokes it,
winces and slowly, ever so slowly, she twists
a long strand of hair into a shiny knot in her hand.
She gently tugs at it making her sway a bit
as she digs a hopeless fist into her waiting lap
trying to keep her eye lids gently closed while doing it.
She has a dancer’s body, a small ballerina’s head
and I watch her ivory, gracefully bent neck exposed
by gravity of on the side of her cheeks falling hair.
She’s grieving, motionless.
Suddenly, she opens her clenched fist, fingers stiffly spread
while her eyes open and stare rebelliously
at the first, shiny knot of hair in her hand,
yet spent by the shrieking stillness in her mind.

Jeremiah 23: 23;

I am a God who's everywhere
I am not in one place only
I live in the hearts of the brave and free
And in those who are scared and lonely
There's no place in this world that I can't see
And no person can hope to hide from me.
Though I love my children, I'll not spare the rod
On those to be born as the Sons of God.

RE: To a Beautiful Person
To the most beautiful person in this world. I wrote this poem to my wife over 40 years ago.

There are countless lives before us, like the stars up in the sky
But should the cord be cut to this one, should either of us die
Before our separate spirits are entwined and sing as one
Ever more would we be parted. But now the bonding has been done.

Now we will know each other in the lives still yet to be
Though our forms are ever changing, I'll know you and you'll know me
We will recognise each other, passing through life's endless doors
And when we meet there in the darkness, our souls will join once more.

In those countless lives before us: in each one if you'll be mine
I will pluck one star from heaven, and in the nights of endless time
I will thread them on eternity, one for every life we live
Then, when the heavens are devoid of light, the universe to you, I'll give......By S-word.

RE: To a Beautiful Person
To the same beautiful person.

Seventy years--- toward my sunset, I've trudged this dusty track
Seventy years---of blood and tears and sweat, with no way of gettin back
Cos I gotta keep on walkin toward my setting sun
And them hills ahead are provin, there's more slogin to be done

Up ahead, it's much to dark to see what's hidden on life's track
And yet the things I've left behind me, seem so clear when lookin back
I've done things that filled my heart with joy and things that caused me pain
On life's track I've sired a girl and boy, and I'd do it all again

A woman walks here by my side, we've been together-- all these years
At fourteen--- she swore she'd be my bride and she's shared my joys and tears
She lit the pathways that I've trod, in this world so dark and deep
And if there's one thing that I'll ask my God, "This angel, let me keep?"

For she will lay me down to rest where the sweetest blosoms fall
And I know beyond this sunset, someday I'll hear her call
Then once again I'll stand here by her side, when that new day has begun
And once more I'll wander with my bride, toward another setting Sun.....By S-word.

That translation is appalling. The Lord say's; Am I a God near at hand only and not a God far off? Can a man hide in secret without my seeing him? Do I not fill both heaven and earth.

RE: To a Beautiful Person
Fair dinkum young fellow---you’re not pullin me leg
Is that really the words Jeremiah said?
Well we poets can call an apple a Quince
It’s called---poetic licence my little prince.

Still, I haven't lied in the things I said
God lives in the hearts of the living and dead
And those to be born in the family of God
Are not to be spared, his chastising rod.

And not every one in the eyes of my lord
Is a beautiful person, for we see in his word
The wicked he says, from his mouth he will spew
I pray young fellow, He's not referring to you.

RE: To a Beautiful Person
I neither weep nor pray for the dead, but for the family and friends of the deceased my heart goes out and I weep with them for their loss.
