To the agnostics
Hello to fellow agnostics! I am new here so I don't know who any of the agnostics/atheists are here just yet. But I will in time, eh?

A dyslexic, agnostic insomniac - one who lies awake at night wondering if there really is a dog...

I'm an empiricist, so agnostic by definition. Hello and welcome!

Agnostic love-in? We can all slap each other on the back and shout "Yeah! I don't know either! Woooh!"

Anyway, yeah, count me in for the mutual admission of ignorance (in a slightly smug way).

RE: To the agnostics
I'm what you'd probably call a philosophical agnostic. That there is no god is about as real to me is that there is a Mars. But when I critically analyze how I "know" that Mars exists, I realize that it's a bit silly to say that I know anything. Of course, it's impractical to always say that I'm very certain that Mars exists, but certainty is just a feeble mental construction that doesn't hold up to critical analysis. Thus, when I say I don't know if there is a god, I'm not saying that I think it's a 50/50 kind of thing. I'm saying that I can't know; I can only have certainty.

RE: To the agnostics
I wouldn't say that an agnostic necessarily has to be a humanist, Alethos - though I would say that's also true for me.

Hello, anyone still around? Seems like the agnostic realm dies for long periods of time...

Anyways hello Smile
