To be a Hindu is: Love truth, look upon the world as Ishwara. All forms of prayer are valid. You are responsible for your action, for your lot.You can change your destiny. You have a free will.God is not love, God is everything. He is in the form of order. He is not partial to anybody. God is not judgmental; so don’t make God, also, judgmental. Don’t say there will be judgment day and God will sit in judgment and send you to Hell. God is not judgmental. He doesn’t make judgment. You ask for it; you get it. You get it or you had it, both.

The Hindu term comes from the word Sindhu, which means those who lived on the other side of the river Indus. The Persians pronounced the Sindhu as Hindus and all people living on the other side of the river Sindhu were called by them as Hindus. "This is also the place that religious belief in reincarnation began. Religion has been named after the region of origin as well as Judaism is named after the region of origin where

This statement holds complete truth and yet directly represents where the world has gone completely negative.

Judgment IS Gods form of order. To be a bad person is to require to know that you are bad so that you can choose to be a good person. So in reality it is less like a judgment and more like simply the truth, if you put water in your gas tank it breaks...if you are a bad person you miss out on the qualities of being good ie you break your good nature.

Ishwara is the name to represent God in Hindu I believe. God is everything from within His universe. There is the option of leaving His universe but that loses your chance at knowing what God knows. God IS love by the way, His Universe is Order. Few people have ever left His universe, and till anyone truly grasps the capabilities of His universe, only those who reject Him and His law will.

Love and order are a dualistic type of reality. All beings are love, it is simply order which is understood and as well loved by God which makes Him equal to His Universe when it comes to order. God would in fact play games and be a competitive type if people would rise up to His level of universal order and simply learn to love the Universe.

All the power of God and His ability to love the Universe is found within Om. By chanting Om a person can come to realize the true strength of love within them and become a being who can match God.

RE: What does it mean to be a hindu?
THE TRUE MEANING OF BEING A Vaishnav(hindu) THE ONE WHO IS NOT PRACTICING THE BELOW WRITTEN THINGS CAN NEVER BE A HINDU THOUGH HE MAY GO TO ANY TEMPLE::

""vaishnav people are those who feels the pain of others ,those who help others in their need and yet never feel proud or show off that they helped.those who meet every person in world with smile and never does slander, slur or backbite ("ninda") anyone.
the one who keeps the god in his heart and does the job for which he is sent on earth means he shall be virtuous ."""

this is the excerp from song "vaishnav jan to tene kahiye (only those are elegible to be called vaishnav(hindu))"

Unite all Hindus around the world to revolt against those who insult or mispreach this relegion...

Being a Hindu means, it can be said as to search, a yearning, to find that which is infinite within one's own self, a yearning to experience that which is Eternal...
