RE: Who said the Koran is perfect?
1) This is from a story being related in the Qur'an. For one seeing the sun set over the water, and not knowing of geometry or astrophysics, it would appear as if the sun were sinking into the water, would it not? See : http://www.islamweb.net/emainpage/index....d&Id=87646

2, 3, 4) Biblical in origin.

5) This has been variously translated, but the case can be made that it is in reference to semen being produced from the man and placed into the woman; under most circumstances this would place the man on top of the woman with the semen being deposited literally between (her) backbone and (his) rib cage. See: https://wikiislam.net/wiki/Quran_and_Semen_Production

6) All the parts of the human body are produced from the embryo; don't get hung up on the word order in translation.

7) There is no Sura 59:49 (it only goes to 59:24). Sura 36:36 reads, in part: "Exalted is he who created all pairs". This does not say he created everything in two's.

8) If the laws of physics and gravity were bestowed by God, how can a bird fly otherwise?

9) Sura 69:7 reads, in part: "You do not see in the creation of the Most Merciful any inconsistency".

10, 11, 12, 13, 14) Biblical in nature.

15) Who knows? Muhammad, and his people, were Arabs- so if it were given to an Arab it would seem logical to give it to him in his own language. Do you intend to say that languages were deposited directly into people by God, or is it more likely that the different languages developed naturally?

~~~
You can argue that the Qur'an is not perfect- and you're perfectly welcome to do so- but if you do, at least have the decency to use your own materials and not cut-and-paste from some low-rent anti-Islam website. Half the items listed didn't even originate with the Qur'an! Do your own homework next time, please, and vet your comments before posting them.
When someone asks "What would Jesus do?" remind them that flipping tables and chasing people with a whip is entirely possible.
Jacob, hello old friend. Here we meet again.
Some of these verses don't say what you said they say.
