RE: Who was Rabbi Yeshua?
The scribes and Pharisees were called "Rabbis". They were teachers of the law. They knew the Torah (first five books of the Bible) by memory. But they could not teach new doctrine. There is another type of Rabbi who knew more than the Torah by memory (for example the Prophets)...and they had authority to teach new doctrine. For example John the Baptist (who is Elijah) had this type of authority. These Rabbis had to get their "authority" from two other Rabbis with smikeh.

Obviously there were two kinds of teachers:

"And so it was, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His teaching, for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes " (Matthew 7:28-29)

The chief priests and the elders asked him, "By what authority are You doing these things? And who gave you this authority?" (Matthew 21:23). Of course He answered their question with a question, but that's only one. Who was the other?

The Prophet Samuel was one. He anointed David as king. You would know this if you read the Prophets silly :P
