Why'd God Put Souls in Degradable Bodies?
If God could've created a spiritual realm with angelic beings or if He could've created altruistic beings with biological immorality on heavenly worlds, then why would He have also chosen to make souls with corruptible bodies or degradable bodies that suffer from pain and death in their physical realm of existence? If God were a spiritual creator and benevolent deity, then why wouldn't He have only created angelic beings on heavenly worlds in the spiritual realm of existence? Why would a spiritual creator and benevolent deity allow innocent beings such as His children on Earth to suffer in such a miserable plane of physical existence?

"All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances, And one man in his time plays many parts" - William Shakespeare

Possibly to protect your self. Sensitivities and pain cognition protect organisms from destruction and guides them towards more comfortable self determination towards less direct harm.

Because he didn't, because life is just a natural phenomena that occurs when the correct set of physical elements are setup in an appropriate manner.
Its amazing how everything makes perfect sense when you leave out all the superstition and magical thinking stuff...

If we had indestructible bodies there would be no need for procreation, and we'd lose out on all the fun practicing for it.

When someone asks "What would Jesus do?" remind them that flipping tables and chasing people with a whip is entirely possible.

I understand why biological beings sense pain.

I'd be interested in knowing if you believe there is a spiritual realm where there'd be disembodied conscious spiritual beings don't sense physical pain. If so, then why would a benevolent spiritual creator have then also created a physical realm where embodied souls feel physical pain?

There is sex for pleasure in the spiritual realm, according to spiritual mystic Emanuel Swedenborg who'd delved into the spiritual realm. Smile

There is no way for anybody to know for sure whether or not he has a "soul" that is going to be part of the "spiritual realm" after he ceases to biologically function on Earth.

indeed, to the same extent that we cant know if unicorns are real or dragons, or if there is a magical 'splargdlarplerp' which hovers over our heads and makes some planet on the other side of the universe shake when we try to think about red things.

Emanuel Swedenborg had "likely" contact with the "spirit" world.
