The Creator is never opressed by the created and that is infact impossible, but the Creator does have wrath and pleasure but this wrath and pleasure is not anything like that of the created

Not sure why this question was even asked. However, in as much as Jesus was/is the Word through Whom all things were created then in as much as He was tortured imprisoned and crucified I'd pretty much qualify that as oppression. Other than that God is certainly wounded by a rebellious mankind. Unless of course you say that Jesus was/is not God in which case all bets are off. Smile

*nods* I understand what you're saying hon, but the fact remains is He did and was. 'He was wounded for our iniquities..' Paraphrased. *soft smile*

If a creator of human beings gets angry at its own creations and blames them for any faults this creator finds in their behavior, who is really to blame? Is Toyota to blame for installing faulty gas petals that ended up causing wrecks or are the buyers and drivers of Toyotas at fault? A god who blames his created beings for their faults is a moral cretin, ethically challenged, and if brought before most any jury judging who's at fault for bad behavior, human beings who screw up or the Maker of these human beings, guess who would be given the penalty.

I am glad I don't have to worship an unethical god.

RE: how could the creator be oppressed by the created
The above post reminds me of a quote from a man who was not only quite good at science, but made many perceptive comments on the subject of religion.

"I cannot imagine a God who rewards and punishes the objects of his creation, whose purposes are modeled after our own -- a God, in short, who is but a reflection of human frailty. Neither can I believe that the individual survives the death of his body, although feeble souls harbor such thoughts through fear or ridiculous egotisms."
(Albert Einstein, Obituary in New York Times, 19 April 1955)
