The word 'Pagan' is actually a word that means any non-Abrahamic religion. Buddhism is a Pagan religion. Taoism is a Pagan religion.

It's kind of like the word 'Gentile' means any non-Jewish religion.

Yes, that is the archaic, "simple" version of it. Yet one that needs to die off. It has taken on a new meaning, with we who identify as Pagan and do not extend it to the point of obscurity and uselessness.
