I respect everyone who has attempted to discuss 'the issue' with Chris, but GT has it right:

If Chris hasn't gotten it yet, he's never going to. I think it's time we give up on him, and thereby stop allowing him to hijack threads.
It's beyond tedious that yet another thread has been dragged by Chris back into airy fairy land of stuff he's made up. I'd like the mods to formally ask Chris to stop bringing the subject of his book up in nearly every thread he posts in.

An excellent reply’ thankyou
I would stake my life that pebbles get bigger not smaller’ in fact’ I know they get bigger, nevertheless’ whether I’m right or wrong it's a nice conundrum to explore.
If you knew geology was flawed what would you do?
1) Do nothing
2) Work out the consequence of that flaw?
I chose 2’ and I think any exploratory mind would do the same.
On further investigation I found limestone was not as sedimentary as first thought, both became suggestive together they became conclusive.

I have listened for many years and I don’t get debate I get insult and as the years go by nobody has given me an argument to the contrary … just insult

No, I was quite happy with the theory of evolution until I discovered pebbles are not as they seem … then everything changed, including the shirt off my back

Amazing’ the thread asks ‘any creationists left here’ and when the only one here does' you throw your toys out the pram. Amazing’ absolutely amazing
'Any creationists left here' =/= hey Chris please dredge up your zany theory on yet another thread
What's amazing Chris is that you just won't stop.
Vis Wrote:I'd like the mods to formally ask Chris to stop bringing the subject of his book up in nearly every thread he posts in.
I have Vis, in a earlier post in other threads
this has been covered enough, and very clear members do not want to hear about your pebbles
several reported posts from several members about this
I dont want to lock the thread so I will say it one more time, Chris ,3 threads covering the same worn out subject is enough, it ends now
If you feel the need to discuss pebbles use the other two threads, please dont force my hand !!
this is the second warning, there will not be a third

I’ll put you down as a number one then Vis, ie, do nothing, and presumably you would gag those who see the world from a different angle … Hmm … science!
Gagging?
Every thread you post in you bring up the topic of your book
that is plain and simple spam , it has nothing to do with science that you have failed at convincing anyone of, bringing it up over and over is not going to change that and will no longer be allowed
start your own thread and pebble your heart out but do not hijack another thread.
I’m confused’ a religion forum where someone with a creation point of view, ie, me, cannot post on any other thread then my own, even though the discussion says “any creationist left here” … to me that sounds like Bullying.
Nevertheless’ I will take my views, the missing link, back to my original thread and leave you to your bullying, that is if there is “any creationist left here” to bully.
Doh’ that was shut down by another moderator … Hmm science!
Chris, no-one is saying that you can't post on other threads, but I think people are getting a bit frustrated that every thread you post on turns into the same discussion - an extremely limited and la-la-la-I'm-not-listening discussion at that. Most regulars on here have an interest in more than one thing, but every debate you're in turns into sand, pebbles or "my science good, your science bad" within two posts. Maybe if you get involved in broader discussion about other topics without banging the "I've proved Science wrong" drum you might find people a bit more tolerant. Have you ever known someone who only ever talks about the one thing?
That said, at the expense of betraying the Atheist Overlord Collective, I do think this particular thread was a relevant place for Chris to post his position in - it seems like an invitation to do precisely that.
Certainly, by all means he along with anyone else can state whether they're creationists right here in this thread. It seems a simple thing that the next thing he could have done, if he wanted yet again to discuss pebbles was to just reference already existing threads and ask anyone interested to go there. Provide the link to that thread. But not to start the same pointless circular remarks in yet one more thread, while at the same time derailing that thread.
There is a difference between what this thread is asking and what Chris decided to dredge up.

Not what I said and you know it. I just expect that you would be held to the same standard as other posters who feel they are prophets, whether it's prophets of god or prophets of made up science. They are always warned and then eventually shut down completely if they won't stop harping on about their imaginings in every thread they post in. I expect that you along with all of us should be and would be held to that same standard.
Post in any thread you want to Chris - just stop introducing your ridiculous theory into every thread you post in. Can you do that?
That's Chris though, that's how he works, and we all know that by now. I think having a thread about Creationism and not expecting him to turn up and do his thing is a bit unreasonable. To be honest, I mostly just feel sorry for Chris that he cares about this subject so strongly, but not strongly enough to actually listen to what anyone's saying.
