anyone can explain away the reality that God exists. but if you look at the complexity of the human body, of nature you come away with ... something created all this.

what about them? i believe in the teachings of Christ, because i have seem them change lives. as far as the OT goes, i don't know. i think thee is a lot of allegory

The existence of God cannot be proved or disproved. The Bible says that we must accept by faith the fact that God exists.And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. If God so desired, he could simply appear and prove to the whole world that he exists. But if he did that, there would be no need for faith.

If God cannot prove God's existence to you then your god is only the god of written men long dead and not the God of the living. All you have for this god's verification is ancient men's word for it. If one cannot prove God's existence to others one can still prove God's existence to oneself and that is by being receptive to God's Spirit contacting you directly telling you directly in your mind things only God could know about what's happening with you and what will happen in your life, i.e. accurately describing your present and accurately predicting your future. For some in dire straights God is the rescuing Savior. You don't need faith as Paul puts in things unseen to see the living God in action in your life. Every scientist must have "faith" in the scientific knowledge of others yet a scientist knows that his faith can be proven by results. Why shouldn't our faith in God be any different from the faith of a scientist in the science knowledge if God is faithful and truly there to be called upon by human beings?
