Most religionists follow the dogma set out in their so called holy books, yet if one needs clarification, their Gods are absentee and canot be called upon for further comment.

Christians are presently waiting for some kind of end time for their God to return to fix things. I find it strange that if they were actually following their dogma, they would be waiting for their God to return to fix what it is said He created perfect and could not possibly be broken.

They seem not to understand their own dogma.

This is precisely what God did not say.

God created everything good, but there was still work for humans to do. And God warned them of problems if they should decide to go beyond the boundaries God had established for their own benefit and protection. We all are living with those very problems that God warned about right from the beginning.

Speaking of which, the Bible says to look to nature for the only proof of God.
This is exactly what helped lead me to the Godhead.

Do you see the perfection of God's works around you as I do or do you see an imperfect world.

You should see perfection if you believe your own Bible.

He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.

Matthew 7:18
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

If not then you show a lack of faith.

This does not say good. perhaps God had a shy moment and did not want to brag. logically, if one has miracles to work with, perfect would be the right word.

It is not to me but to you to pit one scripture against the other.

If you read the first chapter of Genesis, you will see that God created everything good--even very good. The Hebrew word is not translated as "perfect."

God is perfect, however, and God's work is perfect. In this case, the perfect thing to do was to make a world where God's creatures had free will and work to do. And then, should God's creatures mess things up, God's perfect response would be to redeem all of creation and set it right again--after the evil that has entered the world through human free will is finally unmasked and defeated.

First-----do it my way or burn forever is hardly free will. it is a threat.
Second---sin was in heaven before it came to earth.

Third, you think like many Christians who see god as some kind of loser.

Is God and His works perfect.

The way many Christian see God is to see Him screwing up heaven with evil.
Strike one.
They then see God screwing up man's beginning in Eden.
Strike two.
They then see God cleaning house in Noah's day with Genocide and starting over.
Strike three.
They now wait for His return at end time to clean house yet again.
Strike four.

God plays by His own rules I guess.

You and I both know that this view must be false if God‘s works are as perfect as scripture indicates.

To my way of thinking, God gets things right the first time and every time.

This is why He has not and will not return. His perfect systems are here today the same way that they were here in the beginning. He judged Eden as good.

It is just to us to see it. I do. Even with sin and evil and woes, all is perfect and humming along exactly as God wants it to. I call it evolving perfection.

Did your version of God get it right or does He need to return to fix things?
